MY STORY

I currently serve as the Assistant Sports Editor at the Sioux City Journal, which is bases out of Sioux City, Iowa. In this role, I have covered over 40 high schools spanning across three states, along with five colleges and three semi-professional sports teams. I earned my bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at Iowa State University in the spring of 2024. I joined the Iowa State Daily in the fall of 2022, where I published several articles for multiple sports almost daily and served as the Assistant Sports Editor during my senior year. In the summer of 2023, I interned for the Globe Gazette in Mason City, IA, as a sports reporter, where I covered high school baseball and softball for a dozen schools in the north Iowa area. This website will be the home of the stories that I write in my free time and for other organizations.
